The Blue Peter Book Awards
Andy Stanton and David Tazzyman have won the Blue Peter Award for 'The Most Fun Story with Pictures'. Both of them were gobsmacked when they were surprised in their publisher’s offices by Blue Peter presenter Gethin dressed as Mr Gum!
Mr Gum destined for TV!
Nickelodeon Animation Studios, Inc. have gone into development on a proposed animated TV series based on Mr Gum. Andy is currently co-writing a pilot with Andy Bobrow (writer on US sitcom Malcolm in the Middle). They hope to finish the pilot by the end of the year.
