Zoey 101 is a live-action situation comedy TV series screened by Nickelodeon. It has been running since 2005, and was nominated for an 'Outstanding Children's Programme' Emmy in the same year.
Aimed at 8 to 11-year-old girls, the show stars Jamie Lynn Spears as Zoey. In the UK, in its first week on Nickelodeon, Zoey 101 was the number one kids' programme during its slot. Zoey 101 re-runs have consistently ranked number one on Nickelodeon in the UK, and Zoey 101 is the number 1 rated 'tween' show in the US.

Zoey Brooks and her friends attend Pacific Coast Academy (PCA), a boarding school situated on the sunny Californian coast. Formerly an all-boys school, there are a few barriers to be broken down, but Zoey and her girl pals soon show the guys that they mean business!
The beginning of the series starts with Zoey arriving at PCA on her first day – and she's stoked to be there. Zoey's younger brother Dustin already attends the school, and she's pleased she'll be able to look out for him whilst he's away from home. Zoey soon finds her dorm room (number 101!) and it isn't long before she's settling in.
With its stunning location and cool campus, Zoey feels really lucky to be at PCA, and it takes no time at all for her to make some good friends – starting with Chase Matthews. Zoey and Chase go on to become firm friends – but does Zoey realise that Chase has a huge crush on her, and will his feelings ever be reciprocated?
Zoey's other good friends include Nicole, her bubbly roommate who's obsessed with boys; Quinn, a bit of a crazy scientist; Lola; Michael – and even Logan (although he does love himself a bit too much!).
There are always lots of new adventures to be had at PCA – such as rehearsing for the school play, dealing with tetchy roommates, coping with 'prank week' and celebrating the end of the school year with a party on the beach. With classes to keep everyone busy, great friends to hang out with, and dilemmas to be solved along the way, life at PCA is never dull!
